Hiring a BC/DR Professional

After filling a BC position annually it was time to re-think our hiring criteria.
Rather that swap lessons learned stories with you, my approach in this article is to think positive and know the right fit is out there for us. Some elements were obvious - accreditation from the BC/DR community such as CBCP for example. But what would be the staying power to help our division to grow. What soft qualities would ensure the new hire would look at the challenges and not be frustrated. What could a new BC/DR candidate bring that would add diversity yet ensure the basic knowledge levels and experience to provide BC/DR services for our clients.
